Webmaster/Multimedia Designer for Command and Control Engineering Center (C2CEN), United States Coast Guard, Portsmouth, VA.
Responsible for maintaining and posting daily content to the US Coast Guard's Intranet and Internet sites for the Command and Control Center at Integrated Support Command Portsmouth. Works with engineers, software developers, trainers, government and Coast Guard personnel to regularly update information and post technical documentation on websites. Responsible for keeping websites current, accessible, and fully functioning, using XHTML, CSS, ASP, Javascript, as well as Photoshop. Also responsible for maintaining Allied Technology's corporate website.

I have been working for various clients, including projects such as: graphic design, illustration, web design, logo design, photography, portrait commissions, custom paintings, photo retouching, Photoshop lessons and local art exhibitions. I have been responsible for all aspects of running the business, such as marketing, advertising, sales, proposal writing, customer service, website design and maintenance, Search Engine Optimization, Internet marketing, podcasting, and web analytics.

I performed multi-functional roles on distance learning and software development projects, working with clients such as JROTC, Navy, Army, Coast Guard, and Marine Corps. I was responsible for developing online courseware, including interfaces, graphics, instructive and interactive animations, and narration. I designed lesson plans for Army JROTC curriculum, and developed corresponding multimedia. I met with clients to determine necessary revisions for existing online learning courses and implemented revisions to storyboards, scripts, multimedia, and web pages. I also edited and revised content for textbooks, which corresponded with our Distance Learning curriculum. I was resonsible for designing the Help system for AFJROTC Headquarters Management System and Cadet Inventory Management System. I have also designed various presentation graphics and marketing materials.
08/99 - 08/00. Coastal Computers, Virginia Beach, VA
I designed custom websites from start to finish for a wide variety fo clients. I created interfaces, navigation, photography and graphics for websites and met with clients to discuss layout ideas. I maintained and modified existing websites, according to client specifications. I was also responsible for the production of in-house marketing materials.
08/97 - 08/99. Military Newspapers of Virginia, Norfolk, VA
I designed advertisement layouts and digitally retouched photographs for several weekly military publications. I coordinated the printing of the weekly Air Force newspaper and assisted in the weekly printing of six other publications. I worked closely with other clients and colleagues to meet tight deadlines.
